A CBF detém os direitos de transmissão do Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino e, neste ano, a CBF TV vai transmitir praticamente TODOS os jogos da competição. A Band e o Twitter ( @cbf_futebol) detém os direitos comerciais de transmissão e a prioridade de escolha das partidas. Os demais jogos da rodada terão transmissão exclusiva no site da CBF .
A Globo fechou acordo com a CBF para transmitir as principais competições de futebol feminino do Brasil nos próximos anos. O contrato prevê a exibição do Brasileirão feminino, da Supercopa feminina e dos amistosos da seleção comandada por Pia Sundhage na preparação para a Copa do Mundo de 2023.
O acordo assinado estabelece que a TV Globo e o sportv vão transmitir o Brasileirão feminino até 2024. Em 2022, o sportv exibirá até 40 jogos da competição por ano. A partir de 2023, a TV Globo também mostrará o melhor da fase decisiva do torneio.

O Campeonato brasileiro feminino A2 2022
A CBF organizou mais uma competição da segunda divisão do campeonato feminino de Futebol. A competição BRASILEIRÃO FEMININO A2 será organizada, diferente de anos anteriores, por grupos e posteriormente fases mata-mata e uma grande final. As cinco primeiras edições sofreram inúmeras mudanças no número de participantes, no regulamento e até mesmo nas quantidades de promovidos. O torneio foi conquistado por cinco equipes distintas: Pinheirense (2017), Minas Brasília (2018), São Paulo (2019), Napoli (2020) e Red Bull Bragantino (2021).
A competição é disputada desde 2017. A novidade deste ano, entretanto, é a existência de mais uma divisão no campeonato nacional feminino. Trata-se do Brasileirão feminino A3, que será disputado pela primeira vez este ano.
Sistema de disputa
A primeira edição da Série A2 do Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino foi realizada num sistema de dois grupos, com oito agremiações cada. No término da fase inicial, as duas melhores classificadas de cada grupo se qualificaram para as semifinais.Para o ano seguinte, o regulamento foi mantido praticamente o mesmo; contudo, o número de participantes foi aumentado para 29 agremiações, sendo que 26 jogaram uma fase preliminar eliminatória.
O ano de 2019 marcou uma significativa mudança no sistema de disputa. Por causa das exigências de CBF e Confederação Sul-Americana de Futebol, que passaram a exigir dos clubes investimentos em torneios femininos, o torneio passou a ser disputado por 36 agremiações. O regulamento, por sua vez, dividiu os participantes em seis grupos, disputando jogos de turno único e classificando os dezesseis melhores colocados (os dois primeiros de cada grupo e os quatro melhores terceiros). A partir da segunda fase do torneio, o sistema passou a adotar jogos eliminatórios. O mesmo modelo foi aplicado nas duas edições seguintes.
