A área de 4,1 mil metros quadrados da Estrada de Pedra que será revitalizada para garantir uma boa drenagem pluvial deve estar pronta até novembro. Mês que se iniciam as chuvas. As equipes já se preparam para atuar em até 6 mil metros quadrados. Já que as obras também vão atingir a rua Alexandre Calaza.

Assim que as obras acima forem finalizadas, já existe uma outra licitação em andamento na Câmara para recuperar estradas que totalizam 7,6 mil m² no Rio de Janeiro. O projeto deve acontecer em Taquara, bairro onde ficam localizadas duas vias conhecidas pelo alagamento: Cafundá e Catonho.
