Em um contexto de aumento da fome, da inflação de alimentos e de agravamento de doenças crônicas associadas à má-alimentação, a Aliança pela Alimentação Adequada e Saudável acaba de lançar uma carta com propostas para que candidaturas às eleições 2022 garantam o direito humano à alimentação adequada para todos e todas. Participe com a gente! Conheça a carta no site  https://www.alimentacaosaudavel.org.br/candidata-e-candidato-o-que-tem-no-seu-prato , utilize a página para pressionar os candidatos e candidatas à presidência, e envie também para as demais candidaturas a quem você pretende confiar seu voto, utilizando a hashtag #PolíticaNoPrato.

“O objetivo é contribuir para a reconstrução de um Brasil sem fome e com comida de verdade para todas, todos e todes, humana, equitativa, sustentável e democrática, onde a segurança alimentar e nutricional seja tratada como prioridade absoluta nas políticas públicas”, afirma a carta. O lançamento oficial aconteceu em um ato transmitido ao vivo pelo Youtube, clique aqui para assistir ao evento, que contou com falas de representantes de diferentes Grupos Temáticos da Aliança. 

As propostas estão organizadas em quatro eixos: promoção, proteção e apoio à amamentação e à alimentação complementar saudável nos primeiros anos de vida; implementação de medidas regulatórias, incluindo fiscais, que desestimulem o consumo de alimentos não saudáveis para possibilitar escolhas e práticas alimentares saudáveis pela população; incentivos e apoio à produção e comercialização locais e à democratização do acesso a alimentos adequados e saudáveis, priorizando a agricultura familiar e a produção de base agroecológica como instrumentos para combate à fome no Brasil, e garantia do acesso à água como direito humano e bem comum com proteção do meio ambiente.

Além das propostas de cada tema, a carta recomenda o fortalecimento de políticas já implementadas como a Política Nacional de Alimentação e Nutrição e as demais políticas e planos de ação do setor saúde, educação, agricultura, entre outras, que se relacionam com a agenda de alimentação e nutrição. “É, sobretudo, urgente que seja retomada a implementação do Sistema Nacional de Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional (SISAN), nas bases originais da Lei Orgânica de Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional. É necessário que o Conselho Nacional de Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional Nacional (CONSEA) seja reinstalado, assim como a Câmara Interministerial de Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional (CAISAN) e que seja realizada a 6ª Conferência Nacional de SAN de maneira a definir as prioridades para o 3º Plano Nacional de SAN” afirma o documento.

O documento foi elaborado coletivamente pela Aliança, a partir de oficinas e discussões entre seus membros. Nas propostas, as interseccionalidades entre classe, raça e gênero foram consideradas como eixo transversal, e a Carta dialoga com agendas de muitos coletivos, organizações e movimentos sociais que estão sendo divulgadas.
